Free volunteer slots planting saplings along Austin creeks and parks, and weekday workdays at the TreeFolks nursery
TreeFolks hosts 'Ready, Set, Plant!' community plantings at Austin parks and creeks during the cool season, plus regular volunteer workdays at its nursery in east Austin and volunteer shifts at NeighborWoods tree adoption events. Anyone can sign up; no yard is required.

How to apply
Pick an event on the TreeFolks events calendar and use its View Detail link, or register through the TreeFolks volunteer portal (volunteer.bloomerang.co). Events in November 2026 include plantings at Roy G Guerrero Park (Nov 14) and Boggy Creek at Jain Lane (Dec 3) and nursery workdays most weeks.
