Up to two free small trees per household at spring and fall giveaway events
TreesLouisville distributes over 1,000 small trees a year through giveaway events held every fall and spring. Each household may take up to two trees (only one may be a Class C tree), handed out first come, first served on the day of the event. You plant the tree yourself; TreesLouisville recommends planting between October and April.
Who qualifies
Louisville residents with a Louisville Metro ZIP code. Some events are open to anyone; others target specific neighborhoods or ZIP codes.
How to apply
