Up to 3 free young trees (1 to 3 gallon pots) per household at spring and fall pickup events
TreeBaltimore and partners give young trees to Baltimore City residents to plant in front or back yards, not in tree pits or sidewalk strips. Trees are 12 to 36 inches tall in 1 to 3 gallon pots, and households can reserve up to three, one per species. Pickup events are held every spring and fall, and neighborhood groups can host their own giveaway.
Who qualifies
Baltimore City residents, up to 3 trees per household with one per species. Trees are for private yards.
How to apply
Pre-register through the product links on the TreeBaltimore shop page and choose a pickup event; walk-up trees are also available. Groups wanting to host a giveaway email treebaltimore@baltimorecity.gov.
