Its grant program funds community projects such as tree plantings and giveaways, tree care, education and outreach, cultural and artistic expression, and management of invasive species, pests and diseases affecting trees, plus Arbor Day celebrations with tree planting or giveaways. The program reports awarding over $9.1 million to more than 500 projects, matched by over $9 million in cash and in-kind contributions.
