Donate a Tree
馃嚘馃嚭 Sydney, NSW, Australia 路 City of Sydney
Fund a tree that council plants in a public park or reserve and records in the tree donation register
The City of Sydney accepts tree donations from the public. The council selects, plants (typically 2 to 4 metres tall) and maintains the tree in a public park or reserve such as Sydney Park, Redfern Park or the Glebe foreshore, and lists it on the tree donation register with species, location, planting date and the reason for the donation.
Who qualifies
Open to members of the public; the page lists no other criteria. Tree selection, planting, maintenance and donor recognition follow the council's tree management and donation policy.
How to apply
Download the tree donation policy and application form from the council page, or contact the council on 02 9265 9333, by email, or by post to GPO Box 1591, Sydney 2001.
