Casey Trees plants trees on private property at DC addresses at no cost. Arborists help choose species that fit the yard, and up to 25 trees can be planted on one property. Trees cannot be planted in the public right-of-way (the strip between sidewalk and street), which must be requested through 311 instead.

DC residents or plantings at DC addresses only.
How to apply
Submit the online form with contact details, planting address, ward and any location notes or species requests; an urban forester then contacts you. Responses can take 6 to 12 weeks depending on arborist capacity. Check your spam folder for replies.
