Free street trees for New Haven residents who agree to water them, planted by a local crew
About
Urban Resources Initiative, a nonprofit based at the Yale School of the Environment, plants free trees in front of New Haven homes for anyone who asks and agrees to water them. Its GreenSkills crew of local residents and students does the planting, and its Community Greenspace program supports neighbors who care for small parks and lots together.
