Neighborhood tree plantings and tree requests for urban Honolulu
About
Trees for Honolulu's Future works to raise urban Honolulu's canopy, which has been shrinking for decades. It plants trees with volunteers in neighborhoods such as Kaimuki and Palolo, takes requests for trees from residents and groups, and runs a keiki art contest and heat island study with schools. Events and volunteer days are listed on its site.
