About
Stichting Trees for All (founded in 1999 as Trees for Travel, renamed in 2012) is a Utrecht-based charity with CBF recognition and ANBI status that funds and co-implements tree planting and forest restoration in the Netherlands and abroad, financed by private donors, some 1,900 companies and funds, and the Dutch Postcode Lottery. In 2025 it planted 1,858,524 trees and shrubs across 65 projects in 18 countries (511,897 in certified CO2 projects, 1,346,627 in forest projects), supported 40 new Dutch projects and ran 17 planting days for corporate partners. It reports 14.8 million trees and shrubs planted in total since 1999. Abroad it works through partners in e.g. Bolivia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Indonesia and, since 2025, several European countries.
What they run
New forest, forest revitalisation, hedgerows and landscape elements, food forests and urban greening across the Netherlands; 40 new projects supported in 2025 (e.g. KempenBroek, Amsterdam 750 temporary motorway forest).
Certified (e.g. Plan Vivo) reforestation and agroforestry projects abroad such as Bolivia, Mexico and Tanzania through which donors and companies compensate CO2; 511,897 trees planted in certified projects in 2025.
