Harvests, fruit tree care classes and orchard plantings in Portland, Oregon
About
The Portland Fruit Tree Project picks the fruit that would otherwise fall from Portland's backyard trees and shares it with the pickers and food pantries. It also plants community orchards, teaches pruning and fruit tree care, and runs a tree care service. Homeowners can register a tree for harvest, and volunteers sign up for picks and workdays.
