About

PlantNebraska, formerly the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, plants trees and gardens across the state from its base at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Its Trees for Nebraska Towns program awards free trees to tree boards, schools and neighborhood groups for public spaces, and its plant sales and volunteer days are open to anyone. The Canopy Blog is a good read on prairie-state tree care.
