Pruning classes, a Master Pruner program and tree advocacy in Seattle since 1987

About

PlantAmnesty was founded in Seattle in 1987 to stop bad pruning, and it still teaches residents how to prune trees and shrubs properly through classes, workshops and its Master Pruner program. It also runs Adopt-a-Plant, speaks up for heritage trees, and holds an arboriculture conference. Classes are listed on its events page.
