Plants community orchards on vacant lots and schoolyards across Philadelphia
About
The Philadelphia Orchard Project has planted fruit and nut trees with neighborhood groups since 2007, turning vacant lots, schoolyards and community gardens into orchards that the neighbors tend and harvest. You can volunteer at a planting or harvest, take an orchard care class, or ask about an orchard for your site.
