About

The Mindo Cloudforest Foundation protects cloud forest west of Quito through bird tourism, with reserves at Río Silanche, Milpe and Tandayapa created between 2004 and 2008. It runs native tree nurseries and plants to reconnect forest fragments. You can apply to volunteer on conservation work, or visit and book a stay that funds the reserves.
