Fragas do Mandeo buys or manages land of natural value in the As Mariñas district of Galicia and restores native broadleaf forest where eucalyptus stood. Volunteer days cover river cleanups, invasive plant removal and restoration work such as the Picoto Pequeno site begun in September 2026. You sign up by email or phone, and the county pays most of the volunteer insurance. Donations and the charity sale fund more land.
