About

Forestami began in 2018 as Politecnico di Milano research and is now a foundation backed by the region, the metropolitan city, the comune and local universities, with a target of three million trees across greater Milan by 2030. It received the UN World Restoration Flagship award in October 2026. You can join a collective planting in towns like Rho or Bollate, foster a forest seedling through Custodiscimi, or donate.
