About

City of Trees is the Community Forest charity for Greater Manchester, planting street trees, woodland and orchards across the ten boroughs. Its Citizen Forester programme trains volunteers to plant and then maintain trees in parks such as Ridgmont Park in Bolton, and events are listed on its calendar through the season. Donations pay for trees in neighbourhoods with the least shade.
