Croatian scouts replanting fire-scarred Dalmatia with native oak and pine; draw a tree, fund a real one
About
Boranka is a volunteer reforestation campaign led by the Croatian Scout Association with Hrvatske šume and the mountain rescue service, replanting burned ground along the Dalmatian coast since 2018 with holm oak, black pine, stone pine and cypress chosen by foresters. You can draw a tree on the site and donate 1.50 euros to have a real one planted, give any amount, or email the organisers to volunteer on a planting.
