Buys land in the Bristol Avon catchment and plants permanent new woodland with volunteers
About
Avon Needs Trees buys land in the Bristol Avon catchment and plants it as permanent woodland, so the trees are protected for good rather than for a grant period. Volunteers plant through the winter and maintain the young woods in summer, and a woodland skills training programme teaches the practical side. Sign up through its volunteer portal to see upcoming days.
