Turns vacant Detroit lots into groves of trees, with volunteer planting days
About
Arboretum Detroit plants groves on abandoned lots in the city's east side and cares for them as a public arboretum, so that people can see many kinds of trees grown to their full form. Volunteers plant and tend the lots on scheduled days, and the events page lists walks and workdays.
