| Data note | Graine de Vie publishes only a cumulative total (more than 73 million trees since 2009) and no per-year planting figures. Its 2025 annual report counts 376 nurseries in nine African countries, while the 'Nos réalisations' page lists 355 nurseries in eight countries; the website also gives 1,235 jobs created in Africa while the Earth Day 2026 page says 760 local jobs in 376 nurseries. The 3.76 million seedlings a year figure is this directory's derivation from the nursery count and the stated 10,000-plant nursery design, not a published total. In January 2023 the organization announced it was reducing its Madagascar activity by one third. |
