Atlanta nonprofit protecting and growing the city's urban forest through planting, conservation, and education

About

Trees Atlanta is a nonprofit established in 1985 that plants, conserves, and educates to protect and improve Atlanta's urban forest. It plants nearly 10,000 trees each year across five metro counties through community forestry volunteer events, a free yard tree program, downtown plantings, and the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum, which it develops and maintains with Atlanta Beltline. The organization also runs forest restoration on more than 400 acres, youth and adult education, and a workforce development program, and is headquartered at the Kendeda TreeHouse in Southwest Atlanta.
