**What you get:** A CSFS forester will visit your property to assess wildfire risk, pests and forest health and help you build a management plan

Colorado State Forest Service field offices offer two services to private owners: homesite assessments, where a forester evaluates a property for wildfire risk, tree pests and overall forest health, and the Forest Stewardship Program, where landowners work with a CSFS forester to develop a management plan for their forestland. About 7 million acres of Colorado forest are privately owned.

## Who qualifies

Private landowners and homeowners in Colorado; no acreage threshold is stated. Some services carry CSFS service fees.

## How to apply

Contact your local CSFS field office (list at csfs.colostate.edu/field-offices) to request a homesite assessment or stewardship planning help.

**For:** Landowners, Homeowners, Farmers

> Note: The CSFS pages link to a service-fee schedule but do not state the fees; ask your field office what a visit costs.
