**What you get:** Up to two free 5-gallon desert-adapted trees, picked up at a participating nursery

APS offers residential customers up to two free 5-gallon desert-adapted trees for a limited time, administered with the nonprofit Trees Matter. Applicants watch a short tree-care video, submit a brief application, and receive a QR code by email to redeem their trees at a SummerWinds nursery in Glendale, Phoenix, or Mesa. Varieties include thornless mesquite, desert willow, lacebark elm, Texas live oak, and vitex, depending on season and availability.

## Who qualifies

Listed under APS residential programs; applicants must be approved after submitting the application. The page does not list further eligibility details.

## How to apply

On the APS Shade Tree Program page, watch the tree-care video and complete the application. After approval you receive an email with a QR code and a notice when trees are ready for pickup at SummerWinds Glendale (6426 W Bell Rd), Phoenix (17826 N Tatum Blvd), or Mesa (3160 S Country Club Dr). Questions: APSShadeTrees@treesmatter.org or (602) 466-9800. Call Arizona 811 before digging.

**For:** Homeowners, Renters

> Note: APS says the free trees are available 'for a limited time only' and gives no dates or explicit open/closed status. The English page was down for maintenance at research time; facts were read from the identical es-MX locale page. Serves APS territory, not only Phoenix.
