## About

Since 1985 the City of Vienna's forestry office has invited families to plant a new patch of woodland each autumn, about 10,000 oaks, lindens, maples and shrubs a year. The 2026 planting is on 7 November on a field at Telephonweg in the 22nd district, and it is free. Children plant with help from the foresters, who explain what a forest does for the city.
