## About

TreeSisters is a Bristol-based UK charity (no. 1149961) started in 2010 by Clare Dubois and registered as a charity in 2012. It raises funds, largely from individual monthly donors, and grants them to local partner organizations that run community-led restoration projects with women in leadership roles, currently in the Brazilian Amazon, Kenya, Uganda and Cameroon. Its figures are reported as 'trees funded' rather than trees it plants directly; its 2025-26 annual report notes a smaller team and lower income than the prior year.

## Metrics

| Trees planted | 2026 | 28,676,571 | yes (to date) | organization-wide | Self-reported | [source](https://www.treesisters.org/our-impact) Impact page: '28,676,571 Trees funded to date' (trees funded via partners, not planted directly) |

Confidence: self-reported is the organization's own published figure; independently verified means a third party confirmed it; estimated means TreeRM derived it and the note says how.
