## About

Tree Pittsburgh is an environmental nonprofit, founded in 2006, that restores and protects the urban forest of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County through tree planting and care, education, advocacy, and land conservation. It grows native trees and shrubs from locally collected seed at its Heritage Nursery, gives trees to county residents at Tree Adoption events, trains volunteer Tree Tenders, and plants community orchards through The Giving Grove.
