## About

Te Ara Kākāriki plants native Greendots, small patches of bush that together form a corridor across the Canterbury Plains between the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers. Public plantout days in September and October 2026 take place around Lincoln, Tai Tapu and Darfield, with buses from Christchurch for the larger ones, and you register online. Landowners can apply to host a Greendot and get planting advice.
