## About

Southside ReLeaf works in the neighborhoods south of the James River, where Richmond's canopy is thinnest and summers are hottest. It organizes volunteer tree plantings, a Cool the City tree giveaway, and a Tree Ambassador program that trains residents to speak for trees in their own neighborhoods. Events are listed on its site.
