## About

SOS Trees Coalition began in 1992 as SOS Elms, when Dutch elm disease threatened Saskatoon's streets, and it still watches over the city's urban forest. Each May it organizes Arbor Week, with tree walks, pruning and planting workshops and a published tree tour of the city. Membership is open to anyone, and its tree care pages explain how to water, mulch and prune a prairie tree.
