## About

Plantar uma Árvore began as a citizen movement in 2009 and became an association in 2012, and reports about 37,000 volunteers and 140,000 native trees and shrubs planted across Portugal. Upcoming days include the Bussaco National Forest and the Sintra-Cascais park in November 2026. Register in the volunteer database to get the calendar, bring a family or school group, or donate; its species guides explain what to plant and how to care for it.
