## About

NOLA Tree Project has planted trees in New Orleans since 2006, replacing much of what Katrina took. Its Big TREEsy Giveaways hand out several hundred free trees at a time to Orleans Parish residents from November to March; bring a photo ID. Volunteers can also sign up for planting and service days.
