## About

Nébéday is a Senegalese association based in Dakar that has promoted participatory management of natural resources since 2011, working with village forest committees, women's groups and schools. Its annual 'Reboisons le Sénégal' campaigns have planted more than 10.6 million trees since 2017 in Dakar, Thiès, Fatick, Saint-Louis and Ziguinchor regions, mixing mangrove propagules in the Saloum Delta with moringa, baobab and other local species in agroforestry plots, with every planting operation published on a public map. It also runs improved-cookstove, straw-charcoal, beekeeping and 'Camps Nature' environmental education programmes.
