## About

Greening Taupō plants native trees and shrubs around the town and along the Waikato River corridor so birds can move between the bush and the lake. Community planting days run through winter and spring, including the September planting at Whakaipo Bay that has gone on for more than thirty years, and the Wicked Weeders look after planted sites every Tuesday. Its plant lists suggest natives for your own backyard.
