## About

Friends of Trees is a Portland, Oregon nonprofit founded in 1989 that organizes volunteer plantings of street and yard trees and of native trees and shrubs in natural areas across the Portland and Eugene metro regions. Its Neighborhood Trees program sells low-cost trees to residents with scholarships for those who need them, and its Green Space program restores parks and riparian areas with partners in more than a dozen cities.
