## About

Root for Trees is the City of Edmonton's volunteer planting program, running since 2013. From May to October the city hosts planting events in naturalized park areas where residents, families, schools and companies put native seedlings in the ground, with tools and instruction provided. Some 2026 events, such as TD Tree Days and the evening Trees and Tea sessions, need advance registration.
