## About

The Bomenstichting has looked after trees in Dutch towns and countryside since 1970 and became a volunteer organization in 2012, with about 190 contact persons around the country. It keeps the national register of monumental trees and pays maintenance subsidies for them from its Bomenfonds. If a tree near you faces needless felling or is ailing, you can ask a local contact person for advice, or volunteer to become one.

If you run this organization, you can tell us what software you need at https://treerm.org/survey and send us an events feed at https://treerm.org/org/bomenstichting/feed.
