## About

ARBIO has protected 916 hectares of rainforest on the Las Piedras river in Madre de Dios since 2010, studying the forest and restoring degraded patches with analog forestry. In 2026 it signed Peru's first biodiversity payment agreement with a regional bank. You can adopt a centuries-old tree, give through its donations page or its online microfinance system, and ask about corporate or individual volunteering.
