It grows native trees and shrubs from locally collected seed at its Heritage Nursery, gives trees to county residents at Tree Adoption events, trains volunteer Tree Tenders, and plants community orchards through The Giving Grove. The organization publishes an annual Year in Review with planting, adoption, nursery, and volunteer figures.","website_url":"https://www.treepittsburgh.org","logo_url":null,"founded_year":2006,"org_type":"nonprofit","scope":"local","headquarters":{"city":"Pittsburgh","region":"Pennsylvania","country":"US","lat":40.4406,"lng":-79.9959},"volunteer_url":"https://www.treepittsburgh.org/ways-to-support/volunteer/","donation_url":"https://www.treepittsburgh.org/ways-to-support/donate/","events_url":"https://www.treepittsburgh.org/event-calendar/","featured":false,"trees_on_record":8116,"primary_activity":"urban-forestry","activities":[{"slug":"urban-forestry","name":"Urban
