It does not plant trees itself: it finances up to 70% of the cost of silvicultural work (planting and natural regeneration, thinning, designating future and habitat trees, converting even-aged stands to mixed forest) for private and public forest owners, within 'Projets Sylvicoles Territoriaux' co-designed with regional nature parks and local authorities, and checks the work in the field. It is funded by donations from individuals, companies and foundations (42 patrons in 2024), is recognised as a nature-based solution by IUCN, belongs to 1% for the Planet and is supported by ADEME.
