Its 10,394 farmer members grow trees in 37 nurseries clustered around 10 branch locations, then transplant and care for them on their land, earning 'tree currency' redeemable for crop seed, tools, training and microcredit. Trees go into living fences, orchards, slope-stabilizing contour plantings and land reclamation. SFA lists no office address; it began near Gonaïves and works through 10 branches across Haiti, so the Gonaïves location is approximate.
