From November to March anyone can collect free trees at a hub, join a harvest day, or register their land as a planting location. Its Bomenvinder tool suggests species for your soil.","website_url":"https://meerbomen.nu","tier":"listed","resident_offers":["free_trees","volunteer","tree_care_help"],"listed_source_url":"https://meerbomen.nu/ik-doe-mee/","logo_url":null,"founded_year":null,"org_type":"nonprofit","scope":"national","headquarters":{"city":"Zaandam","region":"Noord-Holland","country":"NL","lat":52.4389,"lng":4.8265},"volunteer_url":"https://bomenplanner.meerbomen.nu/vrijwilligers","donation_url":"https://meerbomen.nu/doneer/","events_url":"https://bomenplanner.meerbomen.nu/","featured":false,"trees_on_record":0,"primary_activity":"tree-adoption-giveaway","activities":[{"slug":"tree-adoption-giveaway","name":"Tree adoption & giveaways","primary":true},{"slug":"afforestation","name":"Afforestation","primary":false}],"updated_at":"2026-11-08T08:55:34.010Z","url":"https://treerm.org/org/meer-bomen-nu","markdown_url":"https://treerm.org/org/meer-bomen-nu.md","api_url":"https://treerm.org/api/v1/organizations/meer-bomen-nu","data_note":null,"derived":{"annual_trees":[],"latest_annual":null,"yoy":null,"cagr":null,"dollars_raised_per_tree":null,"cost_per_tree":null,"trees_per_volunteer":null,"survival":null,"hectares":null,"transparency":{"score":0,"label":"Opaque","points":[{"key":"annual","label":"Publishes annual tree figures","earned":0,"max":20,"why":"No year-by-year figures found"},{"key":"recent","label":"Figures are recent","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No dated annual figure"},{"key":"sourced","label":"Every figure has a public source","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"No figures on record"},{"key":"money","label":"Publishes financials or cost per tree","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No financial figure on record"},{"key":"survival","label":"Reports survival or monitoring","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No survival or monitoring figure on record"},{"key":"verified","label":"Independently verified figure","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"Every figure is the organization's own count"},{"key":"programs","label":"Breaks figures down by program","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"No program breakdown"},{"key":"people","label":"Reports volunteers or events","earned":0,"max":5,"why":"No volunteer figures or events on record"}]},"methodology":"https://treerm.org/methodology"},"countries":["NL"],"social_links":{"instagram":"https://www.instagram.com/meerbomen.nu/","facebook":"https://www.facebook.com/meerbomennu/","linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/meerbomennu/","youtube":"https://www.youtube.com/@meerbomennu"},"programs":[],"metrics":[],"upcoming_events":[],"license":"CC-BY-4.0"}
