Volunteer stewardship days run on a regular schedule and are open to anyone who registers. The group also gives small community grants for projects along the river.","website_url":"https://bronxriver.org","tier":"listed","resident_offers":["volunteer","education"],"listed_source_url":"https://bronxriver.org","logo_url":null,"founded_year":null,"org_type":"nonprofit","scope":"local","headquarters":{"city":"New York","region":"New York","country":"US","lat":40.845,"lng":-73.865},"volunteer_url":"https://bronxriver.org/get-involved/volunteer","donation_url":"https://bronxriver.org/donate","events_url":"https://bronxriver.org/visit-the-river/calendar","featured":false,"trees_on_record":0,"primary_activity":"reforestation","activities":[{"slug":"reforestation","name":"Reforestation","primary":true},{"slug":"tree-care-maintenance","name":"Tree care & maintenance","primary":false},{"slug":"education-advocacy","name":"Education & advocacy","primary":false}],"updated_at":"2026-11-08T02:21:52.718Z","url":"https://treerm.org/org/bronx-river-alliance","markdown_url":"https://treerm.org/org/bronx-river-alliance.md","api_url":"https://treerm.org/api/v1/organizations/bronx-river-alliance","data_note":null,"derived":{"annual_trees":[],"latest_annual":null,"yoy":null,"cagr":null,"dollars_raised_per_tree":null,"cost_per_tree":null,"trees_per_volunteer":null,"survival":null,"hectares":null,"transparency":{"score":0,"label":"Opaque","points":[{"key":"annual","label":"Publishes annual tree figures","earned":0,"max":20,"why":"No year-by-year figures found"},{"key":"recent","label":"Figures are recent","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No dated annual figure"},{"key":"sourced","label":"Every figure has a public source","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"No figures on record"},{"key":"money","label":"Publishes financials or cost per tree","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No financial figure on record"},{"key":"survival","label":"Reports survival or monitoring","earned":0,"max":15,"why":"No survival or monitoring figure on record"},{"key":"verified","label":"Independently verified figure","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"Every figure is the organization's own count"},{"key":"programs","label":"Breaks figures down by program","earned":0,"max":10,"why":"No program breakdown"},{"key":"people","label":"Reports volunteers or events","earned":0,"max":5,"why":"No volunteer figures or events on record"}]},"methodology":"https://treerm.org/methodology"},"countries":["US"],"social_links":{"instagram":"https://www.instagram.com/bronx_river/","facebook":"https://www.facebook.com/BronxRiver","x":"https://twitter.com/BxRiverAlliance","youtube":"https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnrc90JzwW7WCeASQr1Wdgg"},"programs":[],"metrics":[],"upcoming_events":[],"license":"CC-BY-4.0"}
